My Scraproom

Even after griping that my dear husband was insistant on me cleaning up my space, I am so glad I did!! (I will NOT be showing the before pictures) I wanted to get some shots of it before it ended up a mess again. I really enjoy having the two tables to work on. One for my "messy" stuff such as sprays and paints, and one for the not so messy stuff such as cutting paper (I have super large self healing Making Memories cutting mat on that table) My messy table also hosts a Ranger non-stick crafting mat which is one of the bestest crafting items EVER.

Whichever table I am sitting at I have plenty of supplies within reach and enjoy turning on my stereo and enjoying the blissful peace. It also has a door to the outside which I love when the weather is nice because I can leave the door open and slide open the screen for some fresh air and natural light.

American Crafts Green Challenge

When I saw the challenge on the AC blog I knew the new "I DO" collection would work perfect for me! I used patterned paper and felt embellishments from the I DO line (with green accents). I also used the pearlized chipboard Thickers from the I DO line as well.

Scrapfit Challenge #15

I saw the challenge at Scrapfit and knew it was perfect for this picture that I didn't know what to do with. Things are very unconventional at the bank that I work for so I wanted to document that. Along with the changes this job has brought into my family.

New Layout and Another Rose!

WOOHOOO I got another rose in the Scrap Bachelor contest at LPS. This has been such a fun contest (cause they definitely know how to have scrap fun at Life Preserver's).

I also completed the sketch blog hop challenge. Rhonda posted about it on the LPS message board so I checked it out tonight and it fit perfectly with some photos from Braylon's birthday this week so I got them scrapped! I love this paper from Scrap Within Reach.

2010 SIMPLIFY

My word for 2010 is definitely SIMPLIFY. I want to incorporate this into all areas of my life. I want to take the time to do the things that I enjoy. I am going to scrap! I am going to make cards! I am going to take the time to visit with my friends. I am going to spend QUALITY time with my children. They love to play games, tickle and laugh. I am looking forward to things looking up!
