New Layout and Another Rose!

WOOHOOO I got another rose in the Scrap Bachelor contest at LPS. This has been such a fun contest (cause they definitely know how to have scrap fun at Life Preserver's).

I also completed the sketch blog hop challenge. Rhonda posted about it on the LPS message board so I checked it out tonight and it fit perfectly with some photos from Braylon's birthday this week so I got them scrapped! I love this paper from Scrap Within Reach.

2010 SIMPLIFY

My word for 2010 is definitely SIMPLIFY. I want to incorporate this into all areas of my life. I want to take the time to do the things that I enjoy. I am going to scrap! I am going to make cards! I am going to take the time to visit with my friends. I am going to spend QUALITY time with my children. They love to play games, tickle and laugh. I am looking forward to things looking up!

I am SO EXCITED!

I have been chosen as November's Guest Designer at Memorable Season's I got the message from Detta and couldn't believe it! MS is my favorite scrappy store. Jill offers the newest products and is always willing to special order things that are requested. There is always some great deals and she frequently has sales! Even on BRAND NEW product! If you haven't checked it out you definitely should! There is also a referral system in place as well so if you go tell her Jessica sent you! Stamptoberfest 2009

Over at 2Peas there is a fabulous event going on called Stamptoberfest. There are tons of challenges to get those stamps out and use them. Why not join me over there thru the weekend? I have already gotten a few cards made and have plans to make a couple more before the end of the event.

October?? Where did September go?

I can't believe that September came and went and I completely dropped the ball on blogging all month. OOPS. Maybe it was school going full swing, maybe it was the girls starting volleyball, maybe it was Gabby starting dance classes, or maybe just maybe it was because my DH lost his job. Yep thats probably it. Things have to go back up from here though. You always feel so compassionate when you hear about someone losing their job and think it can't happen to you. When it does the reality that sets in is TOUGH.

I am on vacation from work this week so that is definitely a plus! I have no plans (I tried to go to Disney but no one would give me tickets LOL)

I did get some scrapping done in the last couple weeks especially participating in the online crop held at Memorable Seasons. Here is my fav from the event:

Gotta go back, back, back to school again!!

WOOHOO!!! The kiddos are back in school! (just kidding, well kinda) Actually I have missed the girls like crazy over the summer so I am glad to have them home. It only took 2 days for me to be ready for them to go to school though. In 4th grade here they get to change classes during the day so that is something new and exciting for them. I am happy to have them well adjusted and prepared for the new year. Madi is growing like a weed and Braylon is still Mama's boy.
